One Standard. Global Impact.
From the design office to the offshore site, we operate under a single imperative: excellence without compromise.
Across engineering, marine operations, subsea services and drone inspection activities, the same level of rigor applies. Despite the diversity of our entities and expertise, STAPEM Group operates under one shared standard of performance, safety and accountability.
Our ambition is not simply to deliver projects. It is to deliver them responsibly, predictably and sustainably – with a unified mindset that connects engineering intent, operational execution and long-term impact.
DELIVERED WITH DISCIPLINE
Safety in every decision. Integrity in every action. Excellence in every environment.
A Shared Safety Culture Across All Entities
Safety by Design & Execution
At STAPEM Group, safety does not start offshore. It begins during the earliest stages of engineering. Design reviews systematically integrate operational constraints, lifting methodologies, constructability assessments and execution scenarios to ensure that what is engineered can be fabricated, transported and installed under controlled and safe conditions.
During fabrication and offshore campaigns, a structured QHSE framework governs every activity. Stop Work Authority is fully embedded across teams, empowering personnel at all levels to intervene whenever conditions require reassessment. Controlled lifting plans, method statements and continuous supervision ensure disciplined execution across all project phases.
This consistency – from calculation note to offshore immersion – reflects a single objective: zero compromise on safety.
Engineering Solutions for a Changing Energy Landscape
Engineering the Energy Transition
STAPEM Group is actively engaged in the transformation of the maritime and offshore industries. The transition toward lower-carbon energy systems is not an external trend – it is integrated into our engineering and operational strategy.
Through Mareal, a significant portion of engineering activity is dedicated to offshore renewable energy, including substations, floating wind foundations and large-scale structural concepts such as the XCF concrete floater. These projects demonstrate our ability to apply offshore engineering expertise to new-generation energy infrastructure.
Through d2m Engineering and d2m Services, we contribute to vessel optimization, alternative propulsion strategies and retrofit solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency. Through ROAV7, drone-based inspection reduces offshore mobilization requirements and limits the environmental footprint of certain operations.
By combining structural engineering, marine expertise and digital inspection capabilities, we support the evolution of offshore infrastructure toward more resilient and sustainable models.
Building Capability Where We Operate
Shared Growth & Local Roots
Our projects are not executed in isolation. Wherever STAPEM Group operates, we aim to build lasting local capability alongside technical delivery.
In Angola, Senegal and other strategic regions, our operations integrate significant local workforce participation. Structured training programs, progressive responsibility transfer and long-term employment strategies are designed to strengthen local expertise and operational autonomy.
Beyond employment, we prioritize local fabrication whenever feasible, engage local suppliers and develop technical skills that remain in-country long after project completion. This approach supports economic resilience and contributes to long-term marine productivity and community stability.
Sustainable offshore operations require not only technical excellence, but shared growth.
Integrity as a Condition of Partnership
Integrity & Compliance
Operating in complex offshore environments requires trust. That trust is built through discipline, transparency and consistent governance practices.
Our internal framework is aligned with international standards and the expectations of major energy operators. Strict contractual compliance, traceable documentation processes and ethical conduct are embedded across all entities.
Zero tolerance for corruption and clear reporting structures reinforce accountability at every level.
Compliance is not treated as an administrative obligation. It is understood as a prerequisite for long-term partnership and operational credibility. By applying a unified governance standard across engineering offices and offshore sites alike, STAPEM Group ensures that technical performance is matched by institutional reliability.
